Taught Postgraduate Programme

MLitt

The MLitt in Biblical Languages and Literature is a one-year taught postgraduate course offering excellent preparation for a research degree in the field of biblical studies, such as a PhD. The course consists of two semesters of seminar-style modules and a 15,000 word dissertation to be completed by the specified date in August.

Through the course, students will build proficiency in Classical Hebrew and Koine Greek and become acquainted with the standard tools and methods of biblical scholarship. Cohorts are small, typically fewer than 10 students, providing for rich interaction with instructors and peers.
