The Temple in Greco-Roman Perspective
Supervised by Prof. N. T. Wright
Ethan’s research examines Paul’s temple imagery from the perspective of his Gentile readers. He hopes to clarify the extent to which Paul’s use of such imagery challenges pagan assumptions and therefore shed light on the function of this imagery in its rhetorical context.
Ethan lives in St Andrews with his wife and son. Prior to moving to St. Andrews, Ethan worked in various pastoral roles and he continues to maintain a strong connection to the United Methodist Church.
