Research Topic
Paul’s Theology of Pneumatic Prayer
Supervised by Prof N. T. Wright

Jesse’s research examines ancient understandings of the relationship between pneuma and inspired speech, especially prayer. He aims to articulate a fresh theological synthesis of the various Pauline texts connected to pneumatic prayer by situating them within their broader first-century context and showing how they contribute to the development of early Christian pneumatology.
