Research Topic
Assemblies of the Kingdom: Paul’s use of εκκλησία and βασιλεία in 1 Corinthians
Supervised by Dr T.J. Lang

Tyler’s thesis aims to explore the role of βασιλεία in Paul’s letters, with a focus on the Corinthian correspondence. Of particular interest are the connection between Paul’s use of βασιλεία and εκκλησία, and how Paul’s usage was understood by his earliest interpreters.
